Shopmobility Terms & Conditions
BY ACCEPTING THE USE OF SHOPMOBILITYS EQUIPMENT YOU ARE AGREEING TO THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF HIRE LISTED BELOW.
FAILURE TO ADHERE TO ANY OF THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS, MISUSE OR WILFUL DAMAGE OF THE EQUIPMENT WILL RESULT IN TERMINATION OF MEMBERSHIP
• The Oracle is not responsible for any injury or accidents that occur due to negligence or any breach of the following terms and conditions once the equipment has been signed out by the user.
• Any damage must be reported immediately by using the contact details on the equipment or on return.
• Equipment will only be issued to the registered customer by referring to our customer database.
• Equipment can only be booked and used between the following times: Monday - Saturday 10am till 5pm, Sunday 11am - 5pm.
• Equipment must be collected and returned to a staff member at the Shopmobility office. If the Shopmobility office is 'on call' please call 0118 965 9038 and stay with the equipment until staff arrive. Equipment must NOT be left unattended.
• Equipment can be left unattended whilst in your care but must be left in an appropriate location so as not to obstruct others. If left, the key must be removed and kept with the user.
• I understand that as the registered user, I am the only person able to operate the equipment. I will not allow anyone else to sit on or operate the equipment, this includes young children sitting on laps or standing on the equipment.
• I will remain within the boundary as shown below.
• Smoking is not permitted on the equipment.
• Equipment is not to be used under the influence of Alcohol or Drugs. (that may affect the user's ability to operate equipment safely)
• It is the user's responsibility to inform shopmobility of any changes in contact details or condition(s) which may affect the individual’s ability to safely operate the equipment.
• Dormant registrations (not used within 12 months) will be closed.
GDPR & DATA PROTECTION
Information I provide on my registration form will be used to register my membership with The Oracle Shopmobility and to regulate my use of equipment provided. My contact details and sensitive data (information about my health or disability) will be processed in accordance with GDPR and the Data Protection Act 1998. Information will not passed on to any third parties without my permission. I understand that if I choose not to provide The Oracle Shopmobility with the necessary information, then it may not be possible for me to become a member of The Oracle Shopmobility.
