Pride of Reading Awards 20th Anniversary

Time to Celebrate! Pride of Reading Awards Launches Its 20th Anniversary in Style.

The Pride of Reading Awards are back, marking a milestone 20th anniversary with unparalleled style and excitement. Launched in 2004 and held annually ever since, this prestigious event, hosted by Reading’s own Chris Tarrant, has seen nearly £100,000 donated to his chosen charities. With thousands of nominations and hundreds of winners, it has truly become a celebration of ordinary people doing extraordinary things.

This year, The Oracle is proud to sponsor the esteemed Chris Tarrant Award. This award is dedicated to someone who lives or works in Reading and deserves special recognition for their outstanding contributions to the community. We invite you to nominate an exceptional individual or organization for this honor.

To nominate, please use the form below and provide as much detail as possible. Remember, nominations are judged based on the information you provide, so be thorough and heartfelt in your submission. Nominations should be no more than 250 words and must be submitted by Monday, 22 July 2024.

All nominations will be reviewed by an independent panel, and shortlisted nominees will be invited to the Pride of Reading Awards Lunch and Presentations. Please include a high-resolution photograph of your nominee using the link in the form; we cannot use nominations without a quality photo.

Join us in celebrating 20 years of the Pride of Reading Awards and nominate someone who has made a significant impact. Let’s honor those who make Reading a better place for all.
